A live-streamed virtual event will take place on Monday, May 25 at 1 p.m.

With the Victoria Day
long weekend underway, the City of Vaughan is urging everyone to follow
physical distancing protocols to help stop the spread of COVID-19 – especially
when visiting parks and trails.
All
park amenities – including playgrounds, sports fields, tennis and basketball
courts, dog parks and benches – remain closed until further notice.
Vaughan Public Libraries is first in province to provide curbside pickup
New program allows residents to enjoy physical collection safely
Beginning on Wednesday, May 20, Vaughan Public Libraries (VPL) will become the first public library system in Ontario to offer curbside pickup. This service will allow patrons to borrow any item currently on the shelf at the pickup location, and represents a significant expansion of services by providing safe access to a portion of its physical collection during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Launching today, the new Digital Boost Vaughan Small Business Resiliency Program provides free training and mentorship to help local businesses adapt to the changing environment caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
