“I strongly condemn all acts of anti-Semitism. The recent disturbing incident where anti-Semitic graffiti was found on the outside walls of Woodbridge College is reprehensible. Racist, hateful and cowardly acts will not be tolerated. They have no place in our city.

"Today is truly a special day – Canada is turning 150. From coast to coast, Canadians will unite to celebrate all that is wonderful about our great nation. Here in Vaughan, we will be hosting one of the largest events in our history at Boyd Conservation Area. Entertainment starts at noon and continues until 10 p.m. featuring many attractions, including a headline performance by Coleman Hell.
