Let’s celebrate the Lunar New Year together!
Join us at 2 p.m. on Feb. 9 at Vaughan City Hall
Are you ready to ring in the Year of the Snake? You’re invited to join us at the City of Vaughan’s annual Lunar New Year celebration tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 9, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Vaughan City Hall!
This year’s event will include a traditional lion dance, red envelope greetings, cultural dances and songs, craft-making activities, and plenty of family-friendly music and entertainment. You won’t want to miss it!
Also known as the Spring Festival, Lunar New Year is one of the biggest celebrations of the year for those of Asian heritage. It is a time to usher out the old year and welcome a new one filled with luck and prosperity.
In 2025, we recognize the Year of the Snake, which symbolizes personal growth, wisdom, intuition and transformation.
