Vaughan Cycling Forum (VCF)

Background

The Vaughan Cycling Forum (VCF) is for residents and cycling enthusiasts to learn about what is to come for Vaughan cyclists and provide input into future cycling initiatives in the City. Due to the success of VCF meetings and the demand for continued opportunities to provide comments, the City plans to hold up to three forums a year.

Sharing the Road

Sharing the Road – Message to Motorists

Bicycles are defined as vehicles under the Highway Traffic Act, so treat them as you would any other vehicle on the road. Look for the new "Bike Route" signs installed on local roads and remember to "Share the Road" with cyclists. This means working together in terms of courtesy, cooperation and safety. You can help keep Vaughan’s roads safer for everyone by sharing with one another.
