A Special Committee of the Whole meeting is taking place on Wednesday,
Nov. 25 at 1 p.m. to address issues of racism and further advance the City of
Vaughan’s diversity, inclusion and anti-racism efforts. The City is encouraging
residents to participate in the virtual meeting by sharing suggestions or ideas
that can help shape these initiatives.

City provides important tips to prevent frozen pipes this winter
As the winter season approaches, it’s important to prepare your home water system for the cold weather to come. Extremely cold temperatures or fluctuations between warm and cold temperatures can cause household pipes to freeze, burst or leak. The City of Vaughan is encouraging residents to monitor outdoor water equipment before the temperature hits below freezing and throughout the winter to ensure leaks are caught as soon as possible.
