Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua issued the following statement to recognize the City’s Corporate and Strategic Communications department for receiving 10 MarCom Awards in 2019:

“I want to congratulate the City of Vaughan’s Corporate and Strategic Communications (CSC) department for receiving 10 MarCom Awards, of which three are platinum awards, and three are gold awards.

City staff raise $90,000 for United Way campaign

Vaughan employees have raised more than $1 million since 1994


The City of Vaughan has a long-standing tradition of helping not-for-profit organizations that provide essential programs and services to residents in Vaughan and beyond. Every year, City staff support the United Way Greater Toronto by taking part in a variety of fundraising efforts to create opportunities and offer resources that help individuals build a better future.

Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua reflected on past accomplishments and outlined Vaughan’s many transformational city-building initiatives currently underway during his keynote address at the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce Annual Mayor’s Luncheon.

 

Nearly 800 business, government and community leaders attended the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce’s signature annual event today.
