The City of Vaughan’s annual Toy Drive is back!
You can help give the gift of hope this holiday season by participating in the City of Vaughan’s 15th annual Toy Drive in support of the CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish!
Mayor Steven Del Duca kicked off this annual campaign at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Academy this morning, live on CP24 Breakfast. Starting today, we are collecting donations of new, unwrapped toys for children aged newborn to 18 years until Friday, Dec. 13. You can drop off donations at Vaughan City Hall, City community centres, fire stations and Vaughan Public Libraries.
Gift cards and cheques are also welcome. Cheques can be made payable to “CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish” and dropped off or mailed to Vaughan City Hall c/o Recreation, Events Division, Level 300, 2141 Major Mackenzie Dr., Vaughan, ON, L6A 1T1.
All donations will be directed to the CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish, which supplies registered charitable organizations, social service agencies and community centres with new, unwrapped toys and financial donations throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
In 2023, the City of Vaughan collected 13,500 toys and more than $25,000 in donations for the CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish.

QUOTE
“Today, we launched the City of Vaughan’s 15th annual Toy Drive in support of the CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish! I want to thank all the students, teachers and staff at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Academy here in Vaughan for helping us kick off this year’s campaign. From now until Friday, Dec. 13, you can drop off new, unwrapped toys at Vaughan City Hall, Vaughan community centres, fire stations and Vaughan Public Libraries. This initiative really goes beyond the joy of unwrapping presents – it’s about giving hope for a brighter tomorrow and putting a smile on a child’s face on Christmas morning. I know our residents understand the importance of giving back – of lending a helping hand when one is needed most. With your help, we can do our part to help make everyone’s holidays special.”
