Enjoy the outdoors – peacefully – with urban wildlife

Tips for living in harmony with coyotes, foxes, raccoons and more

Spring is in the air, which means Vaughan’s wildlife will be coming out of hibernation and – like many of you – enjoying the sunshine and warmer weather. Vaughan awarded provincial grant for Winterfest

Funding recognizes the City’s commitment to reconnect with the community virtually

Throughout the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Vaughan pivoted its programming and services online to ensure Service Excellence continued. One of those services was the City’s award-winning Vaughan Celebrates Winterfest, which took place virtually for the first time on Sunday, Feb. 7.

Help keep Vaughan squeaky clean

Proper waste-disposal etiquette makes a difference

As the snow melts away for the season, it’s much easier to notice litter and debris left on City streets, sidewalks and in parks. The City of Vaughan encourages you to help keep Vaughan clean by properly sorting your waste items in the correct bins and disposing of them on the appropriate collection days.

Proper blue-box etiquette also makes a difference.
