​Steve Kanellakos introduced to staff and community

Vaughan’s new City Manager was welcomed by staff and members of the community today at a special event held at City Hall. Steve Kanellakos brings more than three decades of extensive municipal experience to Vaughan serving most recently as the City of Ottawa’s Deputy City Manager of City Operations.

 
Vaughan’s Andrew Wiggins has become the first Canadian to be named as the NBA Rookie of the Year. Today, Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and Members of Council are offering their congratulations to the 20-year-old basketball star, who grew up in Thornhill and attended Vaughan Secondary School.
