The City of Vaughan’s award-winning annual Concerts in the Park series is back. This year is extra special as the City celebrates the 25th anniversary of offering free, professional entertainment for residents and visitors of all ages.

public recruitment process, Zoran Postic has been promoted from Interim Deputy
City Manager to the position of Deputy City Manager, Public Works, with the

The City’s annual community event is on Saturday, May 25 at 10 a.m.
Residents are invited to the Public Works Open House on Saturday, May 25 at the Joint Operations Centre, 2800 Rutherford Rd. The event will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., rain or shine, and feature a barbecue, entertainment and free giveaways.

of important policy areas and develop recommendations that continue to elevate
the city as a destination of choice.

New walkway provides
residents with easy access to the park and community centre
The
construction of the North Thornhill District Park walkway demonstrates the City
of Vaughan’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for all citizens. The
project was identified by the local community, including Ward 4 Councillor
Sandra Yeung Racco, to build a path connecting the park and North Thornhill
Community Centre for residents and visitors.
