Stormwater ponds may look safe to skate on – but they are not! The City of Vaughan is reminding citizens that stormwater ponds are not designed or intended for recreational use, such as skating or sledding – no activities on this ice are safe.

Snow is in the forecast yet again, and City of Vaughan crews are ready to respond. The City provides high-quality winter service and continues to collaborate with York Region to ensure streets and sidewalks around the city are salted, plowed and cleared efficiently.
