17th Annual Villa Charities Giro Cycling Fundraiser

Giro takes place every year during the Giro d’Italia in Italy, and includes a route option for all levels, from a family-friendly 25km, to a 60km or 100km scenic ride through Vaughan and surrounding area.

Give a dog a ‘fur-ever’ home

With Family Day around the corner, have you considered opening your home to a four-legged friend? If so, make the Vaughan Animal Shelter your first stop! 

 

On Saturday, Feb. 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Vaughan Animal Services is hosting an adopt-a-thon for dogs in our care at 70 Tigi Crt., Unit 47. Come meet them – there’s no appointment needed!

Winter can feel long and leave you dreaming of warmer weather and sunshine. To help you plan for the summer, the City of Vaughan has released its lineup of more than 80 camps, including 10 brand-new ones, offering an array of options with specialties in creative, culinary and performing arts, enrichment, leadership, recreation, sports, outdoor adventures and water adventures. 

 

Nominate accessibility champions helping to create a barrier-free community!

The City of Vaughan wants to recognize individuals and businesses fostering an accessible environment in Vaughan. An accessibility champion is someone who advocates for an accessible city, a group working to advance inclusivity practices or a business that invents a product or service for people with disabilities. Does this sound like a person or business you know? There’s still time to nominate them for a 2024 Accessibility Champion Award! The deadline is Friday, Feb. 16
