Vaughan Official Plan - Volume 1

The Vaughan Official Plan 2010 was adopted by the City of Vaughan Council on September 7, 2010 and endorsed with modifications by the Region of York on June 28, 2012. It was appealed to the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB) and has subsequently received partial approval by the OMB.

Green Guardians

There are two ways to be a Green Guardian:

 

1. Participate in existing events:

As a community member, not-for-profit or business, you can choose to participate in events run by the City, including community cleanups like the 20-Minute Makeover, tree and or bench dedications, tree planting events, and property recognition programs like Curb Appeal.

 

2. Create your own event:

Get Involved with VMC Transportation Master Plan

Join a Public Information Centre on Thursday, Jan. 30 in the main lobby of the David Braley Vaughan Metropolitan Centre of Community (200 Apple Mill Rd.) to:

  • learn more about the study process to date.
  • hear the recommendations to enhance options for walking, cycling, transit and roads in the VMC.
  • share your thoughts on parking, transportation needs, street connectivity and accessibility, and more.
  • provide input on the draft plan before it’s finalized.
