E-scooter and e-bike rentals are now available in Vaughan!

The City of Vaughan is rolling out a new way to get around the community!

2024 highlights include road extensions, new cycle tracks, sidewalk improvements and more

From walking to cycling to taking public transit to driving your car, there are so many ways to get around. And the City of Vaughan is working hard to advance Vaughan’s transportation network to ensure it continues to serve our growing community! 

Here are some highlights of this progress which are outlined in a recent 2024 Transportation Planning Update:

Get ready to experience ‘a sky full of stars’ this summer! The City of Vaughan’s 31st annual Vaughan Celebrates Concerts in the Park series is back, kicking off with X&Y – Tribute to Coldplay on Wednesday, June 18 in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. 

Join us for six FREE concerts, presented by TD and event sponsor Tim Hortons, on select Wednesdays from June 18 to July 30, weather permitting, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

This Father’s Day, step away from the hustle and reconnect with nature at Kortright! We’ve crafted a fun, hands-on day for families to explore the great outdoors together.

City partners with LEAF to help homeowners plant trees on their property 

We’re making it easier – and cheaper – for you to add more trees to your property this spring. The City of Vaughan is partnering with Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests (LEAF), a not-for-profit organization, to deliver a pilot program to grow Vaughan’s tree canopy and bring more trees to our neighbourhoods – starting right in your backyard!

Help us plant native perennials, shrubs and grasses to attract birds, bees and moths. Eligible for community volunteer hours.
