With Black Friday and the holiday season not too far away, you may be starting to buy gifts for loved ones or treating yourself to something new – which means you’ll likely end up with Styrofoam™, tissue paper, cardboard boxes and other packaging materials to sort through.

Celebrate the Festival of Lights with us!

Looking for some festive fun? The City of Vaughan’s second annual Festival of Lights kick-off celebration is here! Join Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.) to celebrate. 

 

The family-friendly event will include official remarks from Mayor Del Duca, an interactive DJ and dance entertainment, an illumination, free activities and hot chocolate!

Join us tomorrow to honour Canada’s brave service members

Attend Vaughan’s Remembrance Day Service at the Woodbridge Cenotaph

 

Join Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council to honour the brave Canadians who served and continue to serve our country. The City of Vaughan’s Remembrance Day Service will take place tomorrow, Monday, Nov. 11, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Woodbridge Cenotaph (80 Wallace St.).

  • Pierre Berton Heritage Centre (10418 Islington Ave.)
