The City urges residents to take precautions during extreme heat
Today, the City of Vaughan launched a new visitor website that offers an exploration of all there is to see and do in Vaughan from the safety and comfort of home during the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Vaughan Public Libraries (VPL) continues to offer educational online programming for kids to enjoy and take part in from the safety of home during the global COVID-19 pandemic. Starting Friday, June 5, VPL is hosting its first-ever Virtual Science Fair for children in Grades 2 to 12.
Vaughan Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua issued the following statement to address anti-Black racism and in response to the Blackout Tuesday movement on social media:
Planning is well underway for the City of Vaughan’s first-ever virtual Canada Day celebration. As part of the festivities, the City is asking interested residents and businesses to submit a three- to-seven second video message wishing the community a “happy Canada Day.”
