May is Building Safety Month – an important reminder for citizens and industry professionals to prioritize safety when planning construction projects. Whether building a backyard deck, renovating an indoor space or developing a condo complex, obtaining proper permits is a necessary step to ensure construction is completed safely and correctly.

Paying property taxes has never been easier or more convenient. As the third instalment deadline approaches, the City of Vaughan is reminding citizens of the many ways to pay interim property tax bills without having to step foot in Vaughan City Hall.

With warmer weather comes more sightings of Vaughan’s urban wildlife – including coyotes. The City of Vaughan has a new plan to address this that outlines response efforts as well as what residents can do to help avoid or reduce interactions with coyotes.
