Planning for the City of Vaughan’s business mission to Israel in late September is well underway, with a number of companies signed up to participate in this innovative international program that is being headed up by Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua.

Rayette Road has reopened to traffic. Rayette Road was closed temporarily from 111 Rayette Rd. to the intersection of Rayette Road and Oster Lane due to a leaning hydro pole and low-hanging wires. The situation has been fixed.
Luminous Vaughan: Paintings by Pietro Adamo, the first exhibition in a new annual Resident Artist Series, is now on display in the Vaughan City Hall Atrium Gallery at 2141 Major Mackenzie Dr. The exhibition is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. until Sept. 6.
The City of Vaughan continues to extend the hours of
operation at a number of community centres and splash pads in response to the
extreme heat.
Community centre hours have
been extended to 11 p.m. at five facilities across the City. Community centres are
air conditioned and are equipped with water fountains. Some splash pads will be
open until 11 p.m.
