As the global COVID-19 pandemic evolves, the City of Vaughan continues to keep citizens informed of the latest developments and precautionary measures in place. The health and safety of the community remains the top priority. There are many ways citizens can stay up to date on the City’s latest efforts, including eNewsletters, social networks, web content and more. 

Vaughan gets Gold Certification for accessibility

Tune into virtual celebration on May 25 at 1 p.m.
 

The City of Vaughan is committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible and accommodating community for all. In recognition of efforts taken to fulfill this mission, the Rick Hansen Foundation (RHF) has awarded multiple City facilities with Gold Certification for accessibility. A live-streamed virtual event will take place on Monday, May 25 at 1 p.m.

Park protocols – for people and pets

With the Victoria Day long weekend underway, the City of Vaughan is urging everyone to follow physical distancing protocols to help stop the spread of COVID-19 – especially when visiting parks and trails.
 
All park amenities – including playgrounds, sports fields, tennis and basketball courts, dog parks and benches – remain closed until further notice.
