As you prepare for the Canada Day holiday on Thursday, July 1, the City of Vaughan is reminding everyone about the changes coming to curbside waste collection.
The following statement
was issued by Vaughan Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua after a special virtual presentation
during the June 22 Council meeting:
Have you spotted dark brown caterpillars eating leaves on your
trees? These could be LDD Moths (Gypsy Moths), an invasive species not native to Ontario. To help manage
the population, the City of Vaughan is here to provide simple tips for removing
LDD Moths from trees and shrubs on your property.
The City’s 27th annual Vaughan
Celebrates Concerts in the Park, presented by TD and event sponsor Tim Hortons,
is back tonight! The second concert in the series continues with Face 2 Face –
Tribute to Billy Joel and Elton John. The concert will be streamed online starting
at 7:30 p.m. at vaughan.ca/concerts.
