The following statement
was issued by Vaughan Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua on the 20th anniversary
of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, and on the National Day of Service:
Tomorrow, the City of Vaughan will mark the 20th anniversary of 9/11 with a virtual ceremony. In 2001, four U.S. planes were hijacked, two of which were flown into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

and from school. Remember, speed limits have been reduced from 50 to 40
kilometres per hour in all school zone areas. Keep an eye out for signage to
