Vaughan Fire Chief Larry Bentley announces retirement

Chief Larry Bentley is retiring after more than 38 years of exceptional public
service. His last day as Vaughan’s Fire Chief will be May 31, 2018.
Chief Bentley is a seasoned veteran of the Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service (VFRS). After joining the VFRS in 1979, Chief Bentley was promoted to the rank of captain in 1990, platoon chief in 1996, deputy fire chief in 2006 and fire chief in 2013.
