The City of Vaughan’s Public Works crews are dedicated to ensuring the city’s public spaces remain safe, clean and beautiful for your enjoyment. Here is an update on our ongoing summer maintenance operations:

Forestry maintenance

It’s another hot one! There are lots of places to cool down in Vaughan, including a Vaughan Public Libraries branch, one of the City’s splashpads or the Thornhill Outdoor Pool!

Splashpads

All splashpad locations are open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., subject to weather and surface conditions. Please note, the splashpad at Melville Park (201 Melville Ave.) is closed until further notice for repairs. But don’t worry! There are 19 other locations for you to enjoy.

Vaughan residents and employees of Vaughan-based businesses are invited to attend training sessions offered by organizations awarded Talent City Vaughan funding.
