There are many learning and development programs available to all City employees categorized into seven series. With nearly 100 learning and organizational development courses and programs in various formats (classroom learning, eLearning, simulations and coaching), there is something for every employee to grow.

Internal Audit

The City of Vaughan’s Internal Audit department evaluates the municipality’s programs and services, internal controls, and governance and accounting processes, and then provides recommendations to improve the efficiency of operations and effectiveness of risk management and control activities. Through their work, they help uphold the City’s commitment to accountability.

 

Infrastructure Planning and Corporate Asset Management

Infrastructure Planning and Corporate Asset Management is responsible for:

  • Infrastructure planning supports the City’s growth management strategy
  • Protects, negotiates and implements the City’s infrastructure plans during land-use planning and development
  • Manages the City’s interests on third-party infrastructure planning projects
  • Develops and implements the corporate asset management vision
