Students are back in class – drive safely!
School days can cause traffic congestion: children on bikes are hurrying to class, guardians are rushing to drop their children off before work, school buses are lined up to pick up and drop off students. Keep road safety top of mind – slow down, and pay attention when students are nearby!
Get ready for Double-Up Days!
Double-Up Days are coming back! If you have extra waste to dispose of, this City of Vaughan program allows you to place up to six garbage items at the curb, with no paid tags required. Double-Up Days take place the weeks of Tuesday, Sept. 20 or Tuesday, Sept. 27, depending on your scheduled collection day – keep in mind, these are the last Double-Up Days of the year.
