All fire alarm, sprinkler and fire suppression inspections are conducted by Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service (VFRS). Clearance from VFRS is required to obtain an occupancy permit from the Building Standards department.

Change of Use - No construction drawing requirements
A PDF copy of the existing floor layout drawing must be provided.
All drawings are to be designed to a minimum scale of 1:75 or 3/16ths equals one foot. Drawings are to be fully dimensioned, signed and dated, and include information such as:
