Vaughan celebrates the contributions of French-speaking citizens
 
Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua issued the following statement on International Day of La Francophonie:
 
“Today, we celebrate the French language with Vaughan’s Francophone community and recognize their unique cultural contributions to our diverse city.
 
“More than 580,000 Francophones live in Ontario and we are proud that many of them have chosen to call Vaughan home.
