Advancing the 900-acre vision
North Maple Regional Park (NMRP) is a milestone development for both the City of Vaughan and the community. At 364 hectares (900 acres), including 80 hectares (178 acres) of parkland, it is the City's most ambitious park plan yet and will be larger than New York City's Central Park once complete.
Following an investigation of a non-Municipal Conflict of Interest Act (MCIA) Code of Contact complaint, the Integrity Commissioner reports to Council on whether, in her opinion, there has been a violation of the Code, outlining the findings, the terms of any settlement, or recommended penalty and/or corrective action. Where the complaint is not sustained, the Integrity Commission reports the result of the investigation to Council.
