Vaughan Continues to Respond to Ice Storm
About 2,000 households are still without power, primarily in Thornhill and northwest Vaughan.
City staff are going door to door in the area generally bounded by Steeles Avenue West, Bathurst Street, Yonge Street and Highway 407 to check in on residents and give them information on the City’s three warming centres:
• Dufferin Clark Community Centre, 1441 Clark Ave. W., Concord
• Maple Community Centre, 10190 Keele St., Maple (pets welcome)
