Hot weather is in the forecast, and the City of Vaughan is reminding residents to take precautions to stay cool. This could include bringing the kids to one of the recently reopened splashpads across the community!

City’s virtual celebration kicks off at 5 p.m.

The City of Vaughan’s first-ever virtual Canada Day celebration, presented by Greenpark Group, will kick off tonight at 5 p.m.  It promises to be a memorable evening for the entire family! Headlining this year’s festivities is the JUNO award-winning and Grammy-nominated group Barenaked Ladies.

Citizens urged to make firework safety and physical distancing a priority


The City of Vaughan is reminding citizens to stay vigilant, follow physical distancing measures and make fireworks safety a priority this Canada Day. In advance of the statutory holiday, here is an update on facility closures, service disruptions and changes in programming on Wednesday, July 1:
