Advancing Vaughan’s transportation and infrastructure
Did you know that catch basins and maintenance holes connect to two different systems? Both play an essential role in keeping water flowing in Vaughan, but each has a unique function. It’s important for everyone to be aware of what should — and should not — go down the drain to help maintain the City of Vaughan’s water infrastructure, quality and supply.
It’s the time of year for renovation projects! If you’re planning to do some summer construction at your home or business, keep in mind that construction materials cannot be placed out for curbside waste collection in Vaughan.
How can Vaughan’s streets safely accommodate all users, including people who
are walking, biking, taking public transit or driving? The City of Vaughan is
developing Complete Streets Guidelines to outline the planning, design,
operation and maintenance of the City’s street network – and your opinion
matters!
The City of Vaughan is
dedicated to fostering a community that is diverse, welcoming and inclusive for
all residents. As part of that commitment, Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and
Members of Council joined the community to unveil a new rainbow crosswalk at
City Hall today during Pride Month.
